Bete Noire (Betty) - GlitchTale

OH BOI!!! So this is a character named Bete Noire from the Undertale AU called GlitchTale by Camila Cuevas, and it's AWESOME!

BETTY!?? WHAAATT??!!!! Yeah man GlitchTale is amazing sauce beans and I think it's one of the best AU's out there. And for those of you who do not know what I'm talking about, please watch it! this character is from the second season, and it's really depicting what her soul is made of and so on and what she does with other human's and monster's souls such as in episode two... I won't go into detail incase of spoilers but it's great and please watch it! and man there's so many names I could have called this. I wasn't sure to name this Dust to Dust, or Child of Fear, or Soul of Fear, or something. but I went with Dust to Dust because the episode is called "Dust" for obvious undertale reasons of monsters turning to Dust when they die, and it matches the nursary ryme, "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust" and I really liked how creepy and fitting that was ot her character.

This was both really fun to make as well as like difficult cuz my emotions are all over the place that I was kinda off the first day I picked it up, but that's ok because I felt like I could paint again today when I finished it. Also Pink is such a hard color to work with, cuz it's not exactly it's own "color" on the spectrum if that makes sense, unlike red, blue, cyan, green, yellow etc. Because all pink is is a lighter shade of red/violet, it's not it's own color if that makes sense. Kinda how like brown is really just a paler darker orange or red, it's not exactly it's own color, only difference is that brown is neutral enough of a more natural color that it's very diverse much like black and white or grey scale, where Pink is so loud of a color that  it's more limited than any other color, so when you get lighter it really only moved in the direction of white being as it's already half way there being just a lighter shade of red if that makes sense. it's easier to show you and not over text but essentially that's why. (for anyone who understood that)

but anyways! Overall now that it's finished I actually feel like this is one of my favorite and one of my best pieces! I really like composition on this one a lot, and all the cool overlay glowey things in it ranging from pink, blue and purple.
